If you own a Wear OS device you can now download and install the latest version of the operating system: version 2.3.

Wear OS by Google Get Device Help. Get & remove apps on your watch. To download the app, tap Install. Add new apps to your watch. If the screen is dim, tap it to wake up your watch. To go to your list of apps, press the Power button. Scroll and tap Play Store. You'll be signed in with the Google Account you used to set up your watch. Jan 16, 2019.

Although version 2.3 is a full point upgrade from the previous 2.2, there doesn’t seem to be many upgrades involved with the newest version. The Home app gets an update from 2.20 to 2.21, but there are no Google Play Services or security patch updates involved at all.

In other words, it seems this is an update for bugs and performance fixes rather than new features or other upgrades.
